How It Works
Think of our team of jewelry makers as a sounding board, soaking in the inspirations from your life that will make up the fabric of your custom engagement ring. That could be your favorite color, flower, or a birthstone. That’s what makes it unique. Whether we’re starting from scratch or upcycling an existing piece, our designs always aim to reflect the person who will wear it.
Step 1: Render It
A design is sketched and the details are sent to CAD for finishing touches. This is where the piece really starts to come to life.
Step 2: Wax Review & Sizing
The CAD rendering has been approved and it’s off to print to create a wax model of the piece. Test out the size and fit to make sure it’s just right.
Step 3: See it Shine
If the wax model is a perfect fit, our team gets to work investing, casting, polishing, setting stones, and the finished custom piece is revealed. Time for our favorite part, making the call that y;our custom design is ready!

A lot of custom jewelry work is outsourced or sent to different places for each step of the process, but here, we do it from beginning to end. Know your custom jewelry is in safe hands at our Asheville store, with the same design team following it through.
You can be involved as much or as little as you want, but trust that the process is moving. We create the blueprints, render the designs in CAD, and guide you through discussions on stones, materials, and metals to use.
