Our Story
Since 2010, our jewelry store in the Asheville area has been a special place for us. We are committed to our team and the community and delivering jewelry that stands the test of time and becomes heirlooms. It is a pleasure to work with talented people that we love and respect, and we hope this comes through in every interaction!
We have a large selection of jewelry from diamond hoops to silver bands. But where we really shine is our custom work; completely in-house from CAD to complete, we are excited to offer one of the most unique shops in Western North Carolina. If you have time, we would love to show you around the state-of-the-art equipment we use to manufacture. Of course, it is all finished with our talented team of jewelers who put the finishing touches on each piece.
Why Marthaler?
As a young man interning with a seasoned goldsmith, I developed an intimate understanding of precious stones and elegant jewelry. I also observed the emotions that drive people to want and need commemorative, heirloom pieces.
My formal education took place at the Gemological Institute of America in California, and I have spent over 20 years working as a gemologist crafting custom jewelry designs.
Tonya and I have built our well-loved business on a solid foundation of integrity and transparency, upon which our team can craft exquisite designs and brilliant one-of a-kind pieces.
We believe that honesty and openness are the most important facets of any customer relationship.

Community Involvement
Each quarter, Marthaler Jewelers shares a percentage of its profits with local organizations to enrich our little part of the world. We support organizations that meet the varied needs of our community especially those that work with the youth, elderly, cancer survivors, and first responders.
